The trip is wonderful so far....kids are great and Peru is beautiful, the Andes are as beautiful as I remember. Tomorrow we head deep into the Andes to work at a school...we are building a kitchen and carrying up a stove, pots, etc. so it will be good training for the Inca Trail. Then we will return to give gifts and play with the children, as well as spend the night. THEN we begin hiking. Everyone is feeling well, though the altitude certainly affects us.
